These attributes have served me well in my current position as a software architect, solutioning new features, guiding development teams, and assisting with deployments. I've worked in the fintech industry for 15 years on bank payments software.

I'm currently located in Oklahoma, USA. In my spare time I enjoy weight lifting, running, biking, and swimming. I served as president for the Triathlon Club of Oklahoma City 2021-2022. I love to travel to new places and eat fabulous food! You can find me drinking either coffee or wine.

Took on a lead developer role to work with a team to build a new remote deposit capture application consisting of a front end web client and APIs for third party clients to consume. I often collaborated with product stakeholders and business for reqirements, scope, and sizing estimates.

Responsible for fixing defects, adding features, and writing documentation for bank processing software, specifically check imaging for returned items and archive operations.

K20 Center - University of Oklahoma | Programmer Intern Norman, OK | 2005 - 2007

Collaborated on a development team to design and implement a multi-player online educational video game deployed to ultra-mobile PCs (this was a pre-cursor to tablets). Our development team worked with artists, educators, and administrators to design the game play, story, and art. The game was deployed to public schools across Oklahoma.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

My background is mainly in C# and C++. I have experiences using .Net WebForms, Windows applications, services, Microsoft MVC projects, Angular and AngularJS, and WebAPIs. I am a full stack developer but I prefer to not write SQL if I can help it. I love designing and building usable, beautiful, user interfaces but also want the back end to be optimized and performant. Being in fintech forces a high level of security compliance across every application I design and write.
